I thought I saw a shooting star in the sky as I saw something what looked too fast for an aeroplane and it disapeared into the sky. Then later when It just started snowing I told my brother and he said he saw it too. He said it is a good time of the year to see them as the atmosphere is cooler. I thought I would share this as apparently it is rare for one person to see them, let alone two people see the same one! I'm not expert but I thought this was interesting.

If you go somewhere where there's not much light pollution (Devon or Cornwall, the Highlands of Scotland for example) and look at the sky on a clear night for any length of time you soon realise that there are loads of them. If you live in or even near a city the sky isn't that interesting because you can only see a fraction of what's there. I sound like a right Patrick Moore
