Tommeh Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Tyne wear derby was a good watch I thought, rare occurence these days. Was asleep within 4 minutes of the Russians- Norwegans though, seen the highlights and it was never a red card and Bosingwa's assault was terrible.
Joe. Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 I just don't understand how two officials can miss such an obvious offence, it's incredible. The Fifa ruling is totally wrong in the first place; it's only there so as not to undermine the referees, but what's the point when justice isn't done anyway? If red cards can be rescinded after referees have seen it and taken action, surely the same should apply for the opposite.
DB11 Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Well I'm sure I saw him waving his flag in vigorous manners as if to indicate a foul, more than if it was just a throw in/corner Liverpool were attempting to time waste. He flagged for a foul in Chelsea's favour against Liverpool. Assistants are told to do this by senior referees to avoid any flashpoints (such as Bosingwa's kick), however he didn't flag quick enough. He flagged before Bosingwa committed any offence though

Joe. Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Yes he did. Watch it again and then come back and admit you were wrong.
Bert Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 DB11 is an arrogant little arsehole at times. Joe is right. How it was a free-kick to Chelsea I will never ever know.
DB11 Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Watch it again and then come back and admit you were wrong. Give me a link then How it was a free-kick to Chelsea I will never ever know. I've said before it weren't. Read why I said a free kick was given.

Bert Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Well had you done you'd have known. Well maybe. But the products that fall out of my bottom on a daily basis are more productive than most of your posts.
