davieG Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 How did that Chelsea player get away with that kick in the back when the lino's waving his flag like mad and the ref just dismisses it? Or did I miss something
Samilktray Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 How did that Chelsea player get away with that kick in the back when the lino's waving his flag like mad and the ref just dismisses it? Or did I miss something I wondered a similar thing.
Darkzzz_ Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 How did that Chelsea player get away with that kick in the back when the lino's waving his flag like mad and the ref just dismisses it? Or did I miss something Disgrace. How he didn't go for that but Lampard went for winning the ball.
Brainy Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Chelsea really haven't looked capable of beating any of the other top three this season.
Tevez Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Come on, who's just seen 40 Facebook status updates from people about Liverpool's Win.
Samilktray Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Come on, who's just seen 40 Facebook status updates from people about Liverpool's Win. Im on about 10.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Come on, who's just seen 40 Facebook status updates from people about Liverpool's Win. Sickening.

MC Prussian Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 fooking Frank Lampard. Hooray for -4 points for my FPL team.
Ultra Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 fooking Frank Lampard. Hooray for -4 points for my FPL team. You can't blame him if an attention-seeking fcukwit like Mike Riley decides to send him off for a perfectly-fair challenge.. How many of Liverpool's wins this season have been against 10 men? With the equally appalling penalty award by Howard Webb earlier this afternoon, today we have witnessed the cream of English refereeing in all its glory. The sooner the Premier League brings in referees from overseas, the better.

Corky Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 I hope Liverpool win the league (well actually I'd rather see Villa win it, but that's not going to happen). It'd be nice to have new champions.
Ultra Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 It'd be nice to have new champions. Agreed... ...but not that shower of glory-hunting, bin-dipping, granny-bashing, self-pitying, cheating, thieving, murdering lowlife. I hope they have to wait at least ANOTHER 19 years..
Ultra Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Sorry, but not even OJ Simpson's team could defend Riley after his performance at Anfield. He got the Lampard decision wrong - simple as.
Corky Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Said it all wrong, yes. Tell me Danny why Bosingwa was not punished for digging his studs in Benayoun's back? Riley had a nightmare, plenty of decisions wrong. It's no surprise though, he's always been a crap referee.
DB11 Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Tell me Danny why Bosingwa was not punished for digging his studs in Benayoun's back?Riley had a nightmare, plenty of decisions wrong. It's no surprise though, he's always been a crap referee. AR made a mistake. Anyway, Ultra, you are asking for these European referees well look at the stats. Riley is the nearest to a European referee we have in England. His card ratio is a lot higher than other English referees (matching those in the EU) as well as other subtle stuff, such as his diagonal he takes, act first think later etc.
davieG Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 I thought Lampard's was a red card he went in with his studs up.
Ultra Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 I thought Lampard's was a red card he went in with his studs up. The studs were inches off the ground. It was a far less dangerous challenge than Gerrard's kung-fu attack which caught Terry in the face. As for the Bosingwa hack at Benayoun, that should have earned a red card.
Uncle Albert Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 I thought Lampard's was a red card he went in with his studs up. Agreed. Aswell as studs showing it was also over the ball. Bosingwa should face a ban.
dandannieldanok Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Deary me Mike Riley once again makes a mess of it, if Lampard's was red you may as well ban tackling all together. Another woeful home decision.
