The 31-year-old has seen his career rejuvenated at Pride Park, where he has made the left-back berth his own. Makin said: "Having to go back to play Leicester doesn't bother me, I don't think I have anything to prove to Craig Levein. "All I'm bothered about is getting three points. "I left Leicester because I don't think their gaffer rated me - simple as that - and the way I see it is that I'm going back to Leicester with my new team, and that's Derby County." The useless Manc should get a 'warm' reception...

I thought he was shocking, a complete waste of space. I'm glad we got rid of him, he continued our disgraceful pattern of useless full backs following in the footsteps of John Curtis and Alan Rogers.
