I cant see muscle's tightening coming into play as most of the players now have ice baths at HT so they can keep their legs cold and they also have bicycle's in them aswell to keep the player's legs moving.

Yeah, in the top leagues...

Really! Cycling in an ice cold bath that sounds like fun.

We all dream of test football.

You play over the course of five days, splitting the game neatly into five - each lasting 18 minutes.

The team that wins either the most of the days, or wins by the highest aggregate goal score wins the test.

You can have as many strikers on the bench as you like. It'll be a five-a-side pitch but the teams will be eleven aside. And each "day" will have three breaks. So you play six minutes, then break for a generous 30 minute interval, then another six minutes before an hour long break, playing the last interval of six minutes. It's because it takes the players a good 15 seconds to get from the furthest side of the pitch to the tunnel, and then a further 18.5 seconds getting from the tunnel entrance to the dressing room. Don't forget the time it takes to remove their juice drink things from the coolbox! And there was me thinking there was a member on the coaching staff whose sole job it was to distribute cold drinks to thirsty players.

If it rains, there'll be another break to allow for advertisements to be played and money to be made. Undersoil heating installations will be disabled or removed to make the chances of a freeze-off more likely. No point actually playing football if we can play adverts instead.

The league season will be extended to that all important 39th game. It'll be played in a location that's chosen specifically to spread the beautiful game to new corners of the globe. Yeah, the States or Asia. Sod Africa, Asia's where the money is...

20 minutes? Fuck off. It came from Blatter, it should be rejected for this reason alone...

That wont work what if it's a draw (what is a draw under these new improved rules)

I presume there will be a £25 entrance fee for each day :dunno:

A draw would be hard to attain... there would have to be both a draw in the series of five games (2 wins each, one tied match or 1 win each and three tied matches... or all five are tied), as well as an equal aggregate score. A draw would result in a replay being required... before the end of the season. We have to finish at the same time, you see... if the weather is bad at a particular game, the other games must halt so that they all end around the same time.

Each season will last, on average, about six years... if the weather is particularly inclement for a period, it could be as many as ten years.

25 quid entry each day. 24.50 for concessions, children, the over 80's and students. 5 quid for a half and a tenner for a burger.

Parking at whatever ground will be 5 quid an hour, pre-paid, so you have to try and guess how many hours you'll need or you have to return to the car to top 'er up.

I want to be the first so suggest Ninety Ninety Soccer. My crazy revolutionary idea is we play it all at a high tempo and get an entire weeks worth of games into one, short, ninety minute spell! Ohmygod!
