(It was live on TV, but that was not the 'special' interest I was after)
Knighton Matt Posted 27 April 2005 Posted 27 April 2005 probably not the 'special' answer you were looking for but i remember when peter beardsley got taken off all the leicester fans stood and gave him a standing ovation, the only time i can remember this happening in my lifetime (as in an opposition player getting a standing ovation from the city faithful) following city and i thought that was pretty special if not a bit obscure!

(It was live on TV, but that was not the 'special' interest I was after) 3) Goalscorers were - joachim, cole, beardsley & elliot. 5) wow there were some good ideas there, I can't actually say they are not correct. The one I was looking for was: it was the first City game rescheduled at the behest of television. Some good replies there, I did not know all the answers, they came curtesy of fossils and foxes
