Hi, I'm new to the forum but this guy at work is driving us nuts with stories of playing for the Foxes. He's now 65 years old, it was his birthday last week should we patting him on the back saying I remember you or packing him off to a home?

Dudley?

Technically I guess I was wrong - but no one loves a smug nit picking pedantic, leastwise that's what I was told

Yes well it was printed just about when the nightmare at Leicester with Peter Taylor began so wont include the 1000 or so players we've signed since then and as the guy is 65 I reckoned on being on the safe side, I know we signed some oldies but that would have been stretching it even for Micky Adams :P

Different surname, surely - if these are the only Campbells and we know the guy is 65 then it's none of those in Fossils & Foxes.

thanks for all your help, i think we'll have to wire up his chair and ask him again

thanks excellent website, some one has spent many hours putting all this together.

It's the Leicester Mercury website. That is, of course, our local newspaper.
