Guest Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 I went last night to see their 'The Wall' show at Demont. Really fantastic gig with some nice ozzie-fied touches on their renditions of Floyd classics, plus some randomly great encores such as Learning to Fly (one of my favourite Floyd tracks) Anybody else been to see them either on this tour or others? What did you think?
hairy Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 My wife likes them so I have seen the two previous times at de Mont but couldn't go last night. Cover bands really aren't my thing so best not for me to comment on their slaughtering of Floyd classics.
Samilktray Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 Couple of my mates went, said it was fantastic. I am fond of abit of Floyd myself.
AnActualTom Posted 21 April 2009 Posted 21 April 2009 I have a very good mate who is the sound technician for the European equivalent, only been to one of their shows before in Loughborough. They were fantastic though! This is their website, http://www.go2offthewall.com/ Unfortunately no tour dates up for the UK at the moment, just Russia in 3 days time!

What did you think? This says it all. Sixties music, and the Floyd were ( Arnold Layne, See Emily Play, Point Me To The Sky, etc. ) It just proves everything I have stated in other posts elsewhere. The sixties live on. To get quality material, you have to go back to the best decade of music.
