Mr Happy Posted 5 May 2009 Posted 5 May 2009 Yeah i know, its good to be back in the Championship but i will miss some of the grounds in league 1, apart from Brighton where i could hardly see the game, that was a jokeOn a side note, was anyone on fox travel coach 4, upstairs on the way back, it was a laugh. Was you sitting at the back or the front of the coach?

I can remember years ago Matty Elliott getting a bollocking from MON for responding to the fans request to "start the wave" and subsequently we conceded a goal. It gets on my nerves this business Dickov & Gradel were only too pleased to lend their help in starting the wave (this was when they were warming up however). Great day out and, as mentioned, some wierd and wonderful costumes. Many thanks to JoeyB for making it possible for me to be there . Also, good to meet, albeit briefly, some of you off here.
Corky Posted 5 May 2009 Posted 5 May 2009 " *player* give us a wave, *player* *player* give us a wave". Every 30 seconds. Dampened things a little for me, especially as it was shouted at our defenders WHILST THEY WERE DEFENDING. I must say I enjoyed the Dennis Lawrence chants.
