The Reverend Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 I just want to pay tribute to this fantastic franchise. I remember sitting at home watching it as a youngster, and being amazed by it. Having only watched the Transformers film about 4 months ago, I can say that I was truly stunned and it brought the memories flooding back. Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream et al. I've just watched it again having got it on Blu Ray, and it has just reassured me that it is a truly fantastic film. So much so that I have just bought the old TV series on DVD Season 2 Vol 1 & 2, and Seasons 3 and 4 cost me a measly £22 delivered. Theres about 15 hours worth of viewing there. Epic. The first films sequel is out on 24th June aswel, cannot wait for that. If its anywhere near as good as the first it'll be brilliant. Autobots, roll out!

Legend_in_blue Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 Transformers is quality. The film was quality. I had Optimus Prime as a toy, and that was quality. You could fire plastic missiles from the back of the truck - wow, it was amazin'! Could have your eye out! As for the second film, the trailer looks pretty decent but for me it'll have to do a lot to (a) beat the quality of the first film and (b) better May 8th with Star Trek.
