Ultra Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Jon Dahl Tomasson's played for Newcastle (Premier), Feyenoord (Eredivisie), Milan (Serie A), Stuttgart (Bundesliga) and Villarreal (La Liga). Good spot!
TrickyTrev Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 There have been 5 English players transferred for 7 million pounds or over (in a single deal), who have not gone on to be capped. Who are they?
Alexikokopops Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 He cheated by playing in Europe there for Arsenal. Correct , along with numerous finals before you take in to account his england caps What about David Seaman? He would have played in the same games as Adams but has about ten more caps than him (although about 6 of them would have come at the World Cup 2002).
billyfox1 Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Has Jermaine Pennant ever been capped. I thought he had but can't find it anywhere

Seaman played a fair few qualifiers and friendlys whilst Wembley had been knocked down . Think Adams became a England regular before Seaman also

TrickyTrev Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Kevin Davies and Dean Richards are correct, Jermaine Pennant's highest transfer value was 6.7 million and is therefore incorrect. 3 more. One of them played for Leicester.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 There have been 5 English players transferred for 7 million pounds or over (in a single deal), who have not gone on to be capped. Who are they? Carl Cort
Alexikokopops Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Seaman played a fair few qualifiers and friendlys whilst Wembley had been knocked down . Think Adams became a England regular before Seaman also I got confused. I checked when Wembley was demolished (2003, same year that Seaman finished playing) but then realised that the last game was 2000
TrickyTrev Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Carl Cort Correct. So that is C Cort, K Davies and D Richards. 2 more.

Manwell Pablo Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Dean Ashton's played for England. It's Curtis Davies ok u win. Other ones right though.
Manwell Pablo Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Anton FerdinandBosh. Techincally that was undisclosed. I believe. Although you're probably right.
