Finnegan Posted 6 June 2009 Posted 6 June 2009 Depends what Toshack does in the second half. He's not likely to mess around and make any changes for the sakes of giving experience this time. If he changes up the formation he's likely to take either Earnie or Church off and stick an extra midfielder on so there's hope. But if he does that I'd imagine it'd be Joe Allen over Kingy as he'll be looking to put a holding, deeper player on which is what Joe Allen tends to do.

davieG Posted 6 June 2009 Posted 6 June 2009 Well done Wales you had to work hard for that but were worth the win although Azer may have had a few more technical skills their finishing was Victoria Park standard and hardly tested Henderson at all.
Finnegan Posted 6 June 2009 Posted 6 June 2009 Hennesey. But yeah they were pretty poor to be honest, couple of their substitutes made a difference but if we'd have played with the same intensity for ninety minutes I think we'd probably grabbed a second. Solid, really. It's a shame that we've fallen so far that this will be considered a good result, but a win's a win.

It's a good result, but some have described it as a fantastic result for Wales, their not that bad. The foxestalk team could probably get a draw against Azerbajan
Finnegan Posted 6 June 2009 Posted 6 June 2009 It made me laugh to hear them talking about how this is a big step up for all these young lads and how they need to get used to playing at this level. They're mostly Championship players but even King's been playing against teams this year that would beat Azerbaijan.
