samlcfc Posted 5 June 2009 Posted 5 June 2009 It's alright I guess. He aint what he used to be though, his music used to be fresh, he was innovating. Now he's just ripping off what other people in the scene are doing better but he's the one with the record deal, airplay and the fanbase. his music has change alot since when he started out but as i see it, he still makes decent tunes and there plenty of other artists old and new that fill the gap left when he started to change so im pretty happy to see where he takes it
lou Posted 6 June 2009 Posted 6 June 2009 I was forced to dance to this last night. Oh dear. This I would have liked to have seen as long as I was standing on the sidelines and not attempting to dance to it myself
Guest Posted 6 June 2009 Posted 6 June 2009 This I would have liked to have seen as long as I was standing on the sidelines and not attempting to dance to it myself I did the usual "piss take" stuff, then skulked back off to sip on me Red Bull.
lcfc_jme Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 Track's cool on a night out, but distinctly 'meh' otherwise. Dizzee was MUCH better when he was a lil ghetto kid performing on Wiley's undercards with Rolldeep. UNBELIEVABLY back in the day. Before he ever released any commercial stuff.
Katy Posted 8 June 2009 Posted 8 June 2009 The D Unit is playing at the Engine Shed at my University in October, he played there last year as well. Keen.

Edmund Posted 19 June 2009 Posted 19 June 2009 fook his little soiree with Dizzee Rascal. Armand Van Helden back to his best . Tune is gunna bruise this summer. Not really feeling that. Sounds like your run of the mill generic house tune. Sure it would go off in a dance but nothing standout.
Shrenchel Posted 20 June 2009 Posted 20 June 2009 Not really feeling that. Sounds like your run of the mill generic house tune. Sure it would go off in a dance but nothing standout. Far from my favourite tune but no-one makes cross-over tunes like Armand. It will be everywhere this summer I reckon. All over the radio but still bang up club nights from Ipswich to Ibiza.
The Doctor Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 No. the only decent genre is Indie these "modern" genres are rubbish forget dizzee and calvin harris, give me maximo park and killers instead.
The Doctor Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009  this coming from a person who thinks nathan ellington is a good player. you can't have an opinion.
Samilktray Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 No. the only decent genre is Indie
The Birch Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 Liked it to start with. Dance with me was better but both got overplayed on the radio and got annoying.
Father Ted Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 this coming from a person who thinks nathan ellington is a good player. you can't have an opinion. Just ignore him, he's a Jerk.
Simi Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 Just ignore him, he's a Jerk. Stop trying to bait Milktray, he clearly thinks you're irrelevant so move on and stop making yourself look like a bitchy little school girl.
BoneDog Posted 1 July 2009 Posted 1 July 2009 Dizzee was better 6 years ago. Used to be full boar in Sidewinder days when he was just a grime mc. Back when he got stabbed in Napa. I've never heard of this Calvin Ellington guy but not my cup of tea
