Watching BBC1 abroad for free over the internet

Apparently there's a problem with the filmon.com site... anyone else having issues?

Are there any alternatives that Sir Lavrentis is aware of?

I checked it last night and it wouldn't let me view any of the channels. Bag of crap lol

I think that program is the only 1 of its kind so before that gets fixed, I don't think there is any other way to watch BBC1 live.

Do you want to know how they can view Iplayer in Cyprus? (its quite tricky)

If it costs money and/or involves a lot of technical stuff then there's no point wasting your or their time to be honest mate. They can use the internet, send e mails and write letters but that's about as far as their computer literacy goes.

However if it's a relatively easy step by step process then it may be worth a go...

That's what happens when you post internet secrets on this forum, the internet police get hold of it and shut it down!! :(:D:P

Email from FilmOn

Dear FilmOn Member

You may have noticed the missing channels in the FilmOn HDi Player program guide.

Please do not be alarmed. This is a temporary issue that we are resolving. We expect to have the channels back soon and we ask you to be patient.

We are also waiting for new broadcast hardware to be completed so we can add an additional twenty new channels to the list!

Again we thank you for your patience.
