Did one of these ages ago and bottled it. Im a very good talker but they dropped a clanger asking of a time I have given bad customer service. Made up some terrible story that even I didn't believe. I only had spiel on good customer service so be prepared if it is this.

purpleronnie Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 Just take your time , I've found when talking to people about jobs they tend to 'over talk' just try and relax. Be polite and be upbeat & positive, also a good sense of humour is extremely important so depending on the tone of the interviewer a few laughs wont go amiss. Bubbly personalities tend to do well.

Just talk clearly and be yourself.

"I will be conducting these calls tomorrow day" I guess that means today during the daytime ?

I applied for Kettering, but it isn't on the list
jammo_lcfc Posted 17 June 2009 Author Posted 17 June 2009 Haha, yeah that's what mine said. Where have you applied for? I applied for Kettering, but it isn't on the list I applied for MK as it is the nearest one to where i live. If they sent them to everyone who hasnt even applied to the ones on the list i can understand why i haven't been contacted as they are probibly interviewing people, then to find out there isnt even a job available at the moment there
AoWW Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 Don't be afraid of asking them to repeat the question if you've lost track a little, or even if you just need to buy a little thinking time. Far better to do this and seem confident and controlled than be flustered and waffle on. Good luck, btw.
