BoneDog Posted 16 July 2009 Posted 16 July 2009 Neighbour has a tree and its roots are fucking up the water supply, the sewer feed and my path.He won't get it cut down because he hasn't got the money. Solutions? It's Gods tree not your neighbours Seriously though I had the same problem. The roots went through our sewer pipes and we had a massive blockage with shat coming out through our manhole in the garage. It cost us over £200 to get some Dino-Rod type bloke out to sort it out. And he told us to hire a bloke with a camera to go through the pipes and see the extent of problem (but we haven't). I once killed a trees roots by drilling a hole about a foot above ground level (a big deep hole slanting downwards) and pouring some liquid in. I can't remember what liquid it was cos it was years ago. It was something like Diesel or that stuff you used to put on fences that is now banned. Ammonium Sulphamate works a treat apparantly.
