Radovan's Caravan Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 Suppose Keane did do a good job to get Sunderland up, fair enough. But a lot of managers have got teams out of The Championship only be shit in The Premier League, and I think Keane is one of those guys. Keane is moody, taciturn and thick - he lacks all the personal attributes essential for management. Keane's pursuit of Craig Gordon, the extraordinary fee he paid for him (£9 million) and his peremptory dismissal of the highly competent Fulop (NB the ignorant bias against east Europeans) should have sent alarm bells ringing amongst club proprieters. I think Ipswich are one less fancied side you need to worry about.
Sky Blue Posted 9 August 2009 Author Posted 9 August 2009 Surely you won't get Stock? He's their captain and easily the best player they've got now. Wouldn't have thought Doncaster'd have to be in a position to sell anymore now after Mills and Wellens have already left. We'll wait and see mate but you're probably right, can't see them wanting to sell Stock to anyone let alone a club like us!
theoxonfox Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 Yeah,u get a free ticket alright but it aint for test drivin cars!its something to do wiv donating sperm to sheep!no thanks!!
Koke Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 Is that why Kilworth joined them? And he had the right idea. Why did we have 26.000 yesterday against Swansea when couple of miles dow the road there is a club offering better ticket prices and better product [in the last few years]. I think we should follow the traits of the Americans like. British folks are too loyal to their sports team. <_<
Koke Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 And maybe Coventry and Birmingham City should merge into one club - they might then fill their ground for once.
MPH Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 Ooh even better! You know the fact that you all know the lyrics to one of our songs proves how much you all really love us deep down... and i feel terribly rude cause i don't know any Leicester songs. Anyone care to give me a quick rendition of one... i promise to sing along not really a stadum song but played at the stadium... my personal favorite.
