Bert Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Leicester City are urging supporters using the Fox Travel service to the Ricoh Arena on Saturday, that parking will be available in the RAW DYKES ROAD car park only. 10 Fox Travel coaches will be transporting over 600 of the expected 4,000 plus City fans travelling for the M69 derby, but with other functions taking place at the Walkers Stadium on Saturday, no car parking is available at the rear of the stadium. As an alternative, the Raw Dykes Road car park has been allocated specifically for City fans. The Raw Dykes Road car park will be open from 9am, in plenty of time before the coaches leave at 10.30am prompt.
Bert Posted 30 September 2009 Author Posted 30 September 2009 Bump. After last night, we should be full of confidence going into the next game, and with it being a local derby they should be even more up for it, especially with a big away following. Don't rule Coventry completely out, we never do well there and they seem to be free scoring right now.
Ozwin Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 The website says Fox Travel is full. So we can't use if even if we wanted to.
evs_the_fox Posted 1 October 2009 Posted 1 October 2009 depending where abouts in leicester you're travelling from, it might be worth looking at getting a taxi there and back. there's 3 of us going from broughton astley at £20 each way - £14 each, same as the coaches btw. will anybody use any away pubs or is it just a case of going straight in the ground? there seems to be a couple on the longford road but it they appear to be a fair old walk back!
Bert Posted 1 October 2009 Author Posted 1 October 2009 West Midlands Police have made a request to all Leicester City fans traveling by rail to Coventry this weekend. The Police have requested that all fans using rail services terminate their journey at Nuneaton Train Station. Transport will then be provided to take fans to the Ricoh Arena, at the cost of £3 a head for a return journey. Your co-operation is appreciated. We have currently sold 4,352 of our allocated 5000 tickets. You can join the the travelling Blue Army at the Ricoh Arena

There were 6000 last time we played them and it was one of the worst atmospheres I've experienced away from home.
