Any of you London folk got any advice for cheap hotel/BnB type places in the Greenwich area (Think its called that).

Going London for a weekend as I'm going to Matter at the o2 Arena, so hoping to get somewhere cheap to crash there for a night.

Any advice would be great

Don't stay in the same hostel that we did when we went to see Oasis!

Granted, they are very cheap, £8, but my word it was intimidating!

Everything is pretty expensive around Greenwich, you may want to head a couple of stops out - somewhere like Woolwich (though it's not exactly attractive).

I've stayed at the Novotel in Greenwich a couple of times - nice hotel, built onto the train station.

If you can get a deal on that i'd certainly recommend it.

Look up IBIS hotel at the Excel Centre. it's about 10 mins from the O2, really easy journey, and right outside my front door.
