Question for all you online bods.

What do you have to show for it when you've completed it? Can you print it off or something?

100 people who complete it will get a bound book with all the stickers in it.

Anyone interested in postal based swappage? To keep the cost of buying packs down.

We could list our swaps on email and get some sort of cross reference system going on.

Why is the England 'badge' not the actual badge, instead just a series of flags?

England (the F.A) always has its own album, so Panini do not have the rights. If you look at the players, they are not wearing the official kit either.

Yeah I had an FA endorsed Merlin one in 1998. All bar about four pages of it were just England stickers. lol

When it came to England, I was more of a coin album man. I swear they were affiliated with Esso or someone.

Yeah I had the full album of that, they managed to give every England player in the squad his own page/shiny etc. and do huge reports on each qualifying game then give every other club half and for some teams quarter of a page and even craming 2 players on per sticker!

While we're on about childhood football paraphernalia, whatever happened to these little beauties? Kids these days are missing out big time on them!

Oh, but it's alright because they can do all that sort of thing online nowadays...

Powerpods got their own thread not so long ago.

Football crazy, chocolate mad. Grab a powerpod and play football with the lads. :trumpet:

Another classic football ad slogan...

Not the exact advert but I'm sure they were once described as "the ONLY shoe endorsed by Gareth Southgate". lol

They took him on as their spokesman in late 1996 I think? I'm pretty sure whichever bright spark advertising exec made that decision ended up with a couple of concrete loafers at the bottom of the Thames...

Still collect them. Albeight very sparingly like 1/2 a season. Only shop I know that does them is soccer scene in London.

Have a good 100 odd around somewhere. Have had my Edgar Davids in Holland away on my shelf since th rumour leaked. Really should take him down.

I had quite a few back in the day, most notably Le Tiss in both Southampton AND England kit, Oyvind Leonhardsen and Stig Inge Bjornebye.

I was always hoping they'd produce a set of Leicester players. Guppy in Prostars form would've made my childhood.
