Alexikokopops Posted 9 May 2010 Posted 9 May 2010 I don't buy that at all. The club will make £4,500 if it sells all 30 VIP tickets. When you take away the match tickets themselves (which goes to Cardiff - £780), the extra cost of staff, coach and meal, the club will probably make around £3,000 extra. Is that really going to make any difference to the club's finances? Already discussed: Granted it doesn't seem huge amounts, but £2,000 can still buy new equipment and contribute towards the club. At the same time, I imagine that this package deal is about keeping corporate sponsors happy so that they continue to contribute and pump money into the club, so this package deal should not be seen in isolation.
Daggers Posted 9 May 2010 Posted 9 May 2010 Seeing as there were still spare tickets, isn't all the carping a bit redundant?
