Forum Skin/Options changed?

Recommended Posts

Posted

Just logged in tonight and the forum has changed gone back to what it was like when the changeover was taking place.

I.e - 'Typewriter' type font when posting. (Don't know what that font is called, 'typewriter' font is the best description I can give it)

No 'Back to Top' icon at the bottom of post's just the report icon.

And a white skin instead of the blue skin.

Not noticed anything else different yet. Is Mark doing maintainence on the forum and this is the reason, or is there another reason?

Well spotted. There's some forum upgrades taking place within the next week.

Already took place by the look of it (Was 3.0.5 but its now 3.1.0)

Skin looks nice though

Preferred the blue.

I'm now noticing how much I use and how useful the 'Back to Top' icon is.

Added back to top. The old skin was not a permanent skin, it was a temporary skin I made in a few hours after the initial upgrade. This will be the new default, I will try and sort out an all blue once everything is working properly.

There is a new notification system in place now, check your settings http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?app=core&module=usercp&tab=core&area=notifications

We also have a new mobile skin, much better than the old one we were using.

Automatic media embedding - for example you can just post the link to a youtube vid and it will display in the post itself - easy!

A few other things that will hopefully be up and running soon.

I prefer this skin, looks quite 'clean'.

Also, has something happened when you use it on iPhone, 'cause now it fits in perfectly like and app, big up to you on that
