Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 Might go to this, guessing it's just turn up on the day?
Clive Redman Posted 30 June 2010 Author Posted 30 June 2010 Might go to this, guessing it's just turn up on the day? Yeah, you can buy tickets on the day but they're on sale now too. Fans can also bid for the chance to play for either side in a special auction. There is a £200 reserve on bids and all proceeds go to Wishes4Kids. ArnarGunnlaugsson Posted 16 July 2010 Posted 16 July 2010 Game on! OS article "Lining up for the Leicester legends will be a number of former Foxes, including Steve Walsh, Muzzy Izzet, Matt Elliott and Julian Joachim. They will be joined by other local sport stars and celebrities, including musician and singer of City's 'When You're Smiling' anthem, Jersey Budd. Featuring for Forest will be a selection from Derby boss Nigel Clough, former England international Steve Stone, keeper Mark Crossley and defender Des Lyttle, who also played for Leicester. City fans who cannot wait until November's league fixture at the Walkers Stadium between the two East Midlands rivals can get their fix of local derby action at Quorn Football Club's Farley Way ground this weekend. Sunday's game kicks off at 2pm with admission of £5 for adults and £2 for children."
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 18 July 2010 Posted 18 July 2010 From my point of view, these are not City legends, only ex players of the modern era.
ousefox Posted 18 July 2010 Posted 18 July 2010 From my point of view, these are not City legends, only ex players of the modern era. What do you expect? Arthur Chandler to come back from the dead to play? I think it's safe to say that Muzzy and Walsh are definitely Leicester legends.
Fox in a Box Posted 18 July 2010 Posted 18 July 2010 4-4 and a great game. The foxes were superior in the first half and forest more determined in the 2nd half... and a good turn out 1,000 + i think ...well done Izzet and Walshy.... and the other LEG-ENDS
Corky Posted 18 July 2010 Posted 18 July 2010 From my point of view, these are not City legends, only ex players of the modern era. From many others they are. Two scored doubles in Wembley finals as well as helping to earn us a place in Europe twice and establish us as a very competitive top-flight side. Sounded like a great game from what FIAB said.
