I agree he's a good player but I don't think that price represents good value. It depends what you want to achieve in the season. DJ is out of contract in the summer but Blackpool are apparantly willing to meet our valuation of £1.5m in order to try and stay in the Prem. We want to get promoted and if Paulo thinks Commons can help with that, £1.6m is a small price to pay.

RedHux Posted 27 August 2010 Posted 27 August 2010 He's great in one game, he'll go missing in the next three or four and is always either injured/carrying an injury or coming back from one. Sounds about right him leaving the sheep though. They need to cut costs and he's probably on a decent wage. I fully expect him to say "I want to stay here and hope that the club offers me a new contract" whilst he knows they won't match his current terms so his agent is sending out the feelers for someone who wants him when his contract expires.
