philce Posted 30 August 2010 Posted 30 August 2010 Yes, because he'd been injured. If Moreno had've just cleared the ball when he first got it, we'd have been looking at a totally different game, I've said it before and I'll say it again, passing it around at the back is going to get us into trouble, this was what Moreno was looking to do. But if he'd just hoofed it then we'd all be having a go for that?
C-man Posted 30 August 2010 Posted 30 August 2010 There is nothing wrong with playing it around the back as long as it is safe to do so. Moreno should have cleared the ball with his first touch. It's all about the players using their common sense. Something our team seem quite short on at the moment.

It's not just the team, though, is it? Have you seen the transfer forum?

Babylon Posted 3 September 2010 Posted 3 September 2010 We played well first half... according to some numpty (the manager). http://www.thebluearmy.co.uk/news/Sousa-explains-decision-leave-King/article-2600157-detail/article.html

Was he right? King has "scored" four goals for club and country this season, leaving him on the bench reduces that asset because, although Wellens has got a couple, he's our biggest goal threat outside the strikers.

Dunno if he's carrying a knock or what but he's out of the Wales team tonight In the heart of Wales midfield, Celtic's Joe Ledley is likely to win his 34th cap and could be joined in the line up by Premier League pair Dave Edwards and David Vaughan in the absence of Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey and West Ham's Jack Collison.Doncaster captain Brian Stock (back) and Leicester midfielder Andy King (groin) are also out, while Fulham's Simon Davies has retired.
