Has TV hit an all time low?

I personally think it has. From next week, we are gonna have Celebrity Love Island on 3, Big Brother on 4 and The Farm on 5 as the primary TV shows every night. Last night's TV was atrocious and it got me thinking, has it ever been this bad?
