SOCCERROO FOX Posted 17 September 2010 Posted 17 September 2010 Hey i arrive in Leicester on the 24th of September and need to know if the Leicester v Pomppey match will be shown at the walkabout and the AFL grand final at appox 445am. Any info will be greatly appreciated as im in Austria and my phone wont get through to the walk about.
Alexikokopops Posted 17 September 2010 Posted 17 September 2010 They're showing it at the Walkabout in Shepherds Bush (London). Can't find anything about it happening at Leicester's Walkabout. I doubt they'll be showing it because Leicester's Australian population is nothing compared to London's, and so they probably won't view it as worth opening the bar at 4:30am and applying for a license to cover the sale of alcohol at that time. I could be completely wrong though. Here's the information on London's showing: AFL Grand Final @ Shepherds Bush Walkabout Saturday 25th September Doors open @ 4.30am, KO 5.30am! Father Ted Posted 17 September 2010 Posted 17 September 2010 It could be on ESPN UK if that helps, they haven't put the TV listings up for that date yet though. I should think it would be on though as they show a lot of AFL.

Finnegan Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 NRL > AFL Ew. Gtfo. In the context of rugby, League is a swear word.
dandannieldanok Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 Ew. Gtfo. In the context of rugby, League is a swear word. I used to think like that, but in the last year I've actually sat down and properly watched a lot of rugby league and now I actually much prefer it to union.
Narborough_fox Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 I used to think like that, but in the last year I've actually sat down and properly watched a lot of rugby league and now I actually much prefer it to union. I completely agree with this.
