CHIN UP

We should have an answer to their game plan. We don't and until Sousa relaises this isn't Seria A and ugly football can take you a long way in this league we aren't going anywhere.

Agree with you entirely - they had done their homework, thwarted us throughout, never let us play and hit us with two well taken goals. The problem with City is this...... WE ARE NOT GONNA SCORE ENOUGH GOALS!!!... I said it two weeks ago and will say it again, relying on Howard and Fryatt at this level is not enough... this team will not go anywhere without a 20 goal a season striker - the difference between us and them yesterday was simply cutting edge... they had it and we didnt.... Gallagher up front is not the answer and having signed Wags why arent we playing him up top?

Lose the next two and this team is in the shit

Chin-up!!!!!!

I was fuming leaving the Walkers and now, after listening to PS's post match interview, I'm beside myself.

I think if it was possible for him to walk on the pitch and take the ball home because of how QPR played he would have done so. I'm sorry Paulo - teams don't just roll over and die. Some even play dirty/gamesmanship. Now you've told the world we don't like it and can't play against it ffs.

King Power? ....'king awful more like.

I would like to thank the ref and QPR however. At least they got me out my seat - for the wrong reasons mind you. It's more than we managed to do.

Evening lads, not here to gloat before you slate me.

Don't get to as many matches as I used to as I live 200 miles from London now and have two young sons so these discussions are my substitute for chatting to other fans in pubs.

One thing I noticed in this thread is that everyone is saying it's the worse you've played this season. This may be wide of the mark, but that's been said of almost everyone we've played this season.

Either we're being bloody lucky and playing everyone on an off day, or we're disrupting other teams play with the result being that it looks like a bad day at the office.

For what it's worth, I have hardly any finger nails left after this afternoon. It sounded like you were on top for large periods, but it reminds me of all Sousa's teams.

When he was with us, we were really hard to beat but christ, was it hard to score.

When we were 1 up, I did think I should relax more knowing what his teams are like but then at one up you know how the nerves set in.....

In all honesty, I'm delighted we won today. Playing away to you and Ipswich away we normally get bu**er all, so we'll take 6 points and see where we end up.

Good luck for the rest of the season, until you come to LR unless we're already up by then!

We're not all idiots by the way.......

Thank you for your measured response and it's what I have been trying to tell people for the past day. It should come as no surprise to anyone that a Warnock team plays essentially a spoiling game that frustrates the other side. Maybe they might listen to you.

The next seven games will determine our season, whether it will be a push for the play offs or a relegation dog fight. Sousa will not change his style thats for certain he has said 2 seasons to the premier league. He needs to be given until at least Christmas to prove himself, we are desperate for someone who can stick the ball in the back of the net and I'm not sure he has the contacts in the English game to get somebody in on loan as NP was able to. We also need somebody in the middle of the park who can dictate a game this we have lacked for some years now.

The next 7 games if we are able to play the way we did against Cov and Cardiff could see us going on a good run, confidence will return and who knows what could happen, look in recent seasons how some teams at the bottom have done (Sunderland comes to mind in recent seasons)

After following the club for 43 years I would like to see some quality football played and if it means a consolidation season followed by a promotion season then so be it. I think he should put his best side out on Tuesday, spank the Pompey then do the same again on Saturday.
