sdb Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 Yo I've got to do a presentation tomorrow on successful ideas. Products/companies/ideas that have really taken off, preferably newish ones but anything will do - ideally with a simple origin. It's to try and inspire kids that they can genuinely design/think up ideas that can be a success. Got a few in mind (facebook, glastonbury festival, innocent smoothies), but i'm not really feeling it. I'm knackered and short on inspiration. Any suggestions, i will love you. Thanks x

Mee Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 Something like the iPhone? Keeps kids in contact and is user friendly - just an idea Could use the Reggae Reggae Sauce by Levi Roots. He did the song, also, so it could show kids to think of more than one root to advertise a product. You could also say things like, whatever idea you have, however crazy it may seem, it could work if you try hard.
Mee Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 May be a bit far fetched, but what about electric cars, think they are smart cars. Good inventions to keep costs down and help the environment.
Mee Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 I expect a mention in your presentation. 'This has been my presentation by ..... and members of FoxesTalk.

I love Sony Readers. You can buy a book instantly without leaving the yard! Fan Assisted ovens. Land Canoes. The Segway. Hats with drink holders and straws.
BoneDog Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 Ring-pulls on top of tins of Beans. These should have all gone in the inventions thread.
