Wymsey Posted 9 December 2010 Posted 9 December 2010 Hey there Goaty Cunningham has been impressive for us, he's still got a lot to learn but he's obviously got plenty of class and I think a lot of Leicester fans would want to sign him on a permanent basis. He's a good tackler and is a real threat going forward. He can show a bit of naivety at times but I think that's something he will improve on with experience. As for our Cup game, I'm sure even your complete second string would be good enough for the top 6 of the Prem, and we will put a strong team out (hopefully, depending on which loan players stay, we've got a few) and they will not need any extra motivation. I think you'll be allocated around 5,000, I believe it's 15% of the ground for FA Cup matches. I'm hearing tickets will be £20 for adults so hopefully the Stadium will be pretty full. All in all, I'm looking forward to what should be a cracking Cup tie. We've waited a while for a big cup match like this at home so we should be chomping at the bit in the stands, should be a great atmosphere. See you there Agree
The Goat Posted 10 December 2010 Posted 10 December 2010 Cheers for the info lads. I thought we might get a decent allocation and if it's £20 that's even better! We're getting charged top whack for away games these days, but you can't beat a good away day in the Cup. Do you think it'll be a sell out in your end? I'm confident we'll sell our lot up so I hope Leicester manage to as well just for the atmospheres sake.

Even though it's on TV I expect the attendance to be 30,000+ But some people in leicester can be unbelievably lazy
sphericalfox Posted 10 December 2010 Posted 10 December 2010 I think it could be a very weak Man City side put out, but the question needs to be asked whether or not we go for it or not. Done an article on this on me bloggins: 2 Goals and 1 Cup
Kitchandro Posted 10 December 2010 Posted 10 December 2010 I think it could be a very weak Man City side put out, but the question needs to be asked whether or not we go for it or not. Done an article on this on me bloggins: 2 Goals and 1 Cup If Sven plays a second team or doesn't go for it, I'll chase him out of Leicester. Man City may well have no respect for the Cup (which I wouldn't understand, as it's the trophy they have the best chance of winning) but I certainly do, and I hope Sven does as well. As far as I'm concerned this is one of the biggest games we've had in years (the Play-offs last season of course is another one). There's going to be about 27,000 Leicester fans packed into Freeman's Wharf desperate for a memorable cup upset. I couldn't care less if we go out to Stevenage in the 4th round, beating Man City would be a truly memorable game. And not only that, I'd hope it would give the players a real confidence boost and will convince others that we are going places. If we aren't promoted at the end of the season, I doubt people will say 'it's because we beat Man City in the FA Cup'. And I'd much rather win the FA Cup than get promoted! The Man City line up will be strong even if it's their 3rd string. Cracking title by the way

I hope too that we have our strongest team out on the pitch. A full house, and the atmosphere will be simply awesome!
ManCityTom Posted 11 December 2010 Posted 11 December 2010 Man City Fan Here Lads Looking forward to the game alot but in terms of the team we will put out we have Arsenal away 4 days before but as Mancini has said he wants to win the FA Cup I expect a line up as strong as possible. Which means it should look like Hart Boateng/Zaba K Toure Kompany Kolarov De Jong Barry Y Toure Silva Tevez Balotelli But of course it could change due to our upcoming activity in the transfer window were in the hunt for another striker I think. Also its Neil Young day for our support as the great man has terminal cancer so our support will all be carrying Red and Black scarves.
Swalker Posted 11 December 2010 Posted 11 December 2010 We'll tear them apart whatever team they play. Dyer tearing up Bridge down the right and Davies running rings around Tevez. City 3-2 (AET)

Petchy Posted 12 December 2010 Posted 12 December 2010 Atleast with this Tevez 'Transfer Request' thing going on, they may be distracted. Could snatch a cheeky win.
