Good to see this unfortunate chap is making a good recovery and is back in the crowd.

Best wishes to him.

A die-hard Foxes fan made a triumphant return to the Walkers Stadium at the weekend.

City supporter Tom Meredith fell more than 15ft when he toppled over the barriers of a stairwell at S****horpe United's ground in March.

The 21-year-old from Groby was left with a broken right arm, shattered left knee and fractured skull.

Doctors have also given him a one in 10 chance of regaining the vision in his right eye.

However, despite his injuries, and having to use a wheelchair to get around until his leg heals, the Caterpillar factory worker was desperate to get back to the Walkers Stadium to watch his beloved Leicester.

The fanatical football lover visited the ground with his dad Dave for the first time since the accident on Saturday to watch Leicester coast to victory over Burnley.

Tom, who admits he is lucky to be alive, said: "I had the sun on me all game and we won 4-0, so it couldn't have gone any better.

"I was in the disabled section and people kept coming up to me and calling me an idiot in the best possible sense but it was nice that so many people stopped to say hello.
