Think it's a good gesture towards the fans. Regarding the money surely they'll get more money in the long-term should they stay in this division?

Plus I guess they seriously need the fans support in what has now become one of the biggest games of their season.

It is a very good gesture to be fair, only just realised how close they are to the drop. Must be getting nervous what with scunny's upturn in form

Short term price reduction to encourage long term growth, although I'd imagine at this stage pretty much anyone who's interested in going to see Donny will already do so, but they might get some kids and families interested.

Well they are usually 6,000 below capacity for most games.

Tranmere v County last night was free too for home fans. Over 12000 at the game and sold out, compared to the usual 4-5000 attendances!

That could be due to the fact that it was a re-arranged game from a couple of months ago. Neverhteless, still a good gesture to the fans. But it didn't pay off; they lost 1-0
