Much Ado About Everything

Only u can put negative spin on fryatt's ratio of 9 goals on 18 games for hull. Like him or not, that's an excellent ratio for a striker.

Not really. The same could be said about Gallagher. What I'm trying to say is that the penalties make him look more prolific than he actually is. I applaude him for scoring the penos too. I just think we should move on, he has.

I have moved on,I just think 1 goal every 2 games is harshly described as blowing hot & cold in your v long essay. If you're applying spin in that way im gonna respond. One goal every other game is f'kin great, penalties or no penalties.

Thing is he doesn't score every other game, therefore my definition and your definition of 'not being prolific' is different. Scoring penalties is a lot different than scoring in open play consistently. Yakubu is more prolific than Fryatt and he doesn't take our penalties.

I have a couple of good mates who are Hull fans, and I've actually heard them describe him exactly as I have have done. Guess with them watching him play week in week out makes them unqualified to make that opinion too.

Lots of wasted chances they say. A bit of fluffer one said.

That was a bit harsh I said.

But hey ho, my v. long essay obviously wasn't too your taste, which is ok, because everyone can have their say, I don't mind, in fact I encourage it.

It's alright, but we have a striker with the same ratio who doesn't take pennos.

so people appreciate that for fryatt but ignore that about the yak and slate his "lack of effort"

Hypocrisy, thy name is FT Poster.

I've not stated that about the yak. His goal ratio is good as well. He is only on loan though and he is older and more expensive so you could argue that pearson has got the better deal with fryatt.

i'm not singling you out as stating that about the yak, you just mentioned fryatts goals ratio and i mentioned the yak off that having a moan about the swaths of posters who critise the yak for not chasing down everything - just look in any of the threads in the last 2 months, i can almost guarantee you'll find a "Yak doesn't put in enough effort, he's a lazy bastard, get rid of him now" post in it.

i've decided to share another of my ramblings in the link below:

MUCH ADO ABOUT EVERYTHING

I think you'll find it massive. Bigger than a friendly with Real Madrid, and DEFINITELY bigger than Big Red Nose leaving Man Ushited!

BTW you have been warned! It is MASSIVE!

:scarf:

Great post, thourghly agree with the points made regarding fans behaviour towards are players, for a GK espicially confidence is everything so chanting for Weale or Ricardo out is just counter productive.

Very excited about next season, i have complete faith in Sven and have enjoyed his post match comments, seems very honest and it's encouraging also to hear players such as Naughton and PVA stating how benificial it is to be managed by him.

In conclusion of our season, another opportunity to read my MASSIVE summary. (Is that an oxymoron?) Anyway, of course I welcome your thoughts and feedback!

:scarf:

I agree with your points raised as I said before.. However, you say that 'I'm' self-indulgent! Fooks sake

Right Col City, I got your point already. There's hardly any self-indulgence here. I am providing an opportunity for those who didn't get the chance to read it, head's up. BTW I haven't called you self-indulgent. I called you repetitive. ;)
