Yes they did lose Painter and Austin but they were still deep in the sh*t when he resigned and he failed to replace them. Surely just sticking with Adams would have been a better option. An experienced manager, who knows how to get promoted, can work on tight budgets, would know where to start on the clear-out and he's a Blades fan!
