Only after England realised it couldn't make any dough from them because they lost 2018 of course. Quite happy to go along with all the evident corruption until that point...

I've never quite understood why the top 20 or 30 countries in the world haven't just given two fingers to FIFA and broken away from the dictatorship. The one country one vote system is not fit for purpose and until that changes the status quo will continue. I doubt it would take that 20 or 30. If the top 15 nations went it alone before long the rest would soon follow. I mean who'd want to compete at the highest level without the top teams being there. They certainly wouldn't have the revenue to continue for long that's for sure.

And remember when Triesman made his claims that Spain would win the world cup with russias help in return that Russia get 2018 and everybody just laughed at him!
