Priority 1 Season Ticket Holders

Recommended Posts

Posted

I attended over 13 away games last season, so would like to get my P1 status.

Now, the only problem is , I want to buy the Coventry tickets on Monday , but obviously it's only open to P1 holders.

I cannot get my P1 until I get my season ticket, and take the ticket stubs from last season to the ticket office.

If I do not get my ST today or tomorrow, I won't be able to get tickets on Monday, even though I quality for P1.

What do I do in this situation? Just wait and hope it goes to general sale?

If you are a season ticket holder at the moment you are priority 3 (until you tell them you should be priority 1). Priority 3 comes out on the Wednesday, which is when most the tickets will get sold as most season ticket holder are Pri 3 and will want to go.

Just make sure you ring the TO/go down the TO, etc, early on the Wednesday and you will be fine. We'll get an allocation of about 5k at the least, and I believe there is about 1500 total who are priority 1 and 2 (I could be wrong) so it wont sell out.

You will be fine if you are priority 3 and make enough effort to get tickets. I'm priority 2, but when I was priority 3 we always got them ok.

If you renewed from last year, you'll be fine i would of thought? They use a reference number to store your information on, so anything you used your reference number on, e.g tickets is stored on the database.

If you went in a bought your ST, then you got a receipt, which has your reference number on, take that in, along with the ticket stubs, and then you'll become priority one. When you order tickets they'll then ask for your reference number, you give them it and you should be fine, right? :)

I hope i helped?

If you don't then i doubt any body will, so we'll all be in the same boat, and it won't sell out for Cov :)

Thanks for the reply.

Most of the tickets I got last year were in differen't names - they weren't all bought under my name as sometimes I'd get someone who isn't a P1 to go in and get tickets under their name.

So I need to go in with ticket stubs to prove i'm P1.

I will just wait, thanks though.

Just a question kind off relating to your situation..

me and 3 mates got season tickets this year, however 2 of us are priority 1, the others are priority 3. do you think, if the 2 on priority 3 take in mine and my friends stubs to the ticket office, they could use our stubs from last year, to upgrade there priority?

Cause surely the ticket office wouldn't even think about it, aslong as you have the stubs?

If that didn't make since, ill try reword it if needed? :)

Correct, it is around 1500, I queued overnight for Cardiff play offs as a P3 after P1 and P2 had taken theirs up, and there was still some to go around, cov will make general sale easily, Leeds had close on 7000 in the ricoh last year and it wasnt full at 28k which is cov's best turnout for years, it wont make anywhere near that, early k.o will be difficult for those who work half day on saturday and its summer hols too, we'll probably take 5k but there will also be a few fans having to pick and choose between cov and forest away because the funds just wont stretch.

I don't know if you're waiting to buy yours or not but you don't actually need to have the actual ST with you, if you've already payed for it/ordered it or whatever just say your an st holder, take in your stubs and they'll sort it for you.

If they quoted your season ticket number when buying the tickets you should be fine, otherwise you'll have to take your stubs in

Yeah will work, had all my games under my name on the system then gave him tickets stubs to make the the 4 odd he needed for priority 1

Just seen this question, we did this last year. Four of us chucked our stubs together, hoping that the TO would not take the stubs off us after counting them- they didn't! So over the space of a month or so we all ended up being P1

What night did you queue then? We turned up about 3am on the Saturday morning, after hearing there were about 250 available at the close of play Friday.

There were a fair few queueing, but even come 3pm on the day of the game (the away leg I'm on about) there were odd tickets avaialble
