No offers for Forest five

Recommended Posts

Well that's a shame ;)

Nottingham Forest have revealed they have had no enquiries for five players still on the transfer list.

Midfield duo Adam Nowland and Kevin James, strike pair David Johnson and Jamaican international Marlon King and Alan Rogers have been on the transfer list since May.

The five players were put on the market by Gary Megson as he plans for next season in League One.

Megson told the players they were free to leave the club, but as yet no approaches for any of the players have been made.

Chief Executive Mark Arthur confirmed the club are still waiting to hear from interested clubs in any of the players.

"We have yet to receive enquires for any of the five players transfer listed by Gary," said Arthur.

I always find it ammusing when relegated clubs come out bullishly announcing that they have budgeted so that they won't have to sell their best players. Presumably sellling a bunch of failures that know one wantwas part of this masterplan. lol

Commons for a couple of hundred thousand anyone? We wouldn't want to see our rivals go bust now would we, in a way we would be helping htem out.
