So, there are 10 other players of ours on the pitch, and 11 of theirs who can also influence the game. Not forgetting the referee who had more of a say than anyone. There are also players making individual errors (Kasper/Weale), but once again the doom brigade want it all to be Svens fault.

Was it the wrong substitution, yes it was. I called it in the match thread the second he came on and said what would happen. But we had been losing our grip since Miller came on, his introduction influenced the match much more than Gallaghers.

You cannot say whether the goals they scored would have been if someone else had been on the pitch instead. Did it help having him, no it didn't... but to pin point his introduction as the sole reason we drew is about as laughable as the referees decision making.

This the first time I've criticised Sven and no it wasn't the sole reason we drew and the Miller sub made a big difference but we needed someone up front to be a threat, Nugent was that threat he'd run them ragged in the first half. Gallagher was never going to be that threat neither was he going to be someone to help us hold them at bay.

As soon as Nugent went off you could visibly see the whole game move up the pitch squeezing our defence into a crowded penalty area this put us under extra pressure and provided a platform for all the refereeing decisions to occur.

The Gallagher sub decision was a significant factor in our drawing this game and I really do not understand why Schlupp was even on the bench?

I hope the Leicester fans and Leicester board can be patient with svens new team because I still believe we can go up as champions if we put a run together we will be back up there in no time.

I agree Schlupp would have been a better option, his pace alone means at least 2 Forest defenders would have been covering him, there is no substitute for pace.....Gallagher in all fairness offers us nothing upfront.

Also our fitness levels don't seem to be there, again the last 20 minutes we looked tired....just hope this is a early season issue, and nothing else.

I'm afraid you contradict yourself here..

If 'we had been losing our grip on the game since miller came on' we needed to wrestle that grip back....

Gallagher is the sort of player who can help to control a game we are on top of.. Absolutely not the sort of player we need when we are 'under the cosh'

Therefore it was the wrong substitution to make and yes Sven can be questioned again for making it.

The intro of gally was not the whole story... But it didn't help one little bit.

My issue is not that it wasn't the wrong decision, it was I called it the second he came on (you stood up for him briefly I believe). My issue is with certain members who look past several other more glaring contributory factors and once again land all fault with the manager.

Bad decision, yes... Sole reason we drew, no.
