We've had goal music for a good while now. It's shit, but the club won't listen.
ozleicester Posted 24 September 2011 Posted 24 September 2011 When was this? We've had goal music for a good while now. It's shit, but the club won't listen. All last season.. and this one until now. Im not denying it may have been played, but i honestly cannot remember being affected by it, as i say, i may have been caught up in my own celebrations. Whilst i prefer "the good old days" of standing and singing and celebrating. I cant quite see how the playing of music negatively affects anyones enjoyment...if you like it, jump up and down to it... if you dont... then celebrate how you want to and ignore it. If you are so worried about what other fans/clubs think of us... well
RonnieTodger Posted 24 September 2011 Posted 24 September 2011 Whilst I'm not completely opposed to goal music our "routine" is silly. 1. we score 2. "fire" comes on 3 it stops after no-one had or could join in with the music 4 jobber plays "carnival de paris" on the drum, the fans join in and do the poznan. Just forget about music if we have the same song sung by the fans anyway after every goal
Karljohn Posted 24 September 2011 Posted 24 September 2011 we could plat that "Its oh so quiet, sshhhh" Bjork crappy song, would fit for most home teams Perhaps a little pre match setlist..... Heaven Knows Im Miserable Now by The Smiths, Silence is Golden etc. Correct me if I am wrong but I think the first case of goal music was Wimbledon when they used to play at Selhurst Park, they even played some sort of music when they had a fooking corner. For that reason alone they deserved to be moved to Milton Keynes. I recall the changing from Chelsea dagger to fire with ****** ringing up RL to complain.
