I agree he's not the greatest but he's the only proper winger we've got, useful when you need to change the game.
Guest Col city fan Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 His thinking would have been that with Dyer, Gallagher, Vassel, Waghorn and the additions of Danns, Nugent and Schlupp we were covered with options n the "wide striker/midfielder" roles, we scored quite a few goals last year with them there. Where as the CM department was massively lacking in numbers. I would agree we probably have one too many, maybe Johnson became available and he thought he was too good a player to pass up on, who knows. This...

All energy and effort on the part of Vassell don't mean he's using it efficiently. He's a striker who simply don't score goals, or nowhere near enough of them anyway
