It's a shame it's got to the obvious divide between pro Sven and anti Sven... This is why I've tried to say neither a Sven bummer nor a Sven hater be.. Just analyse the performances game by game Fair play to you actually MC cos you do this and your tone has changed from one of dismissing people with an immature comment to one of answering posts with thought and reason. The tide has turned however and it's becoming increasingly more difficult to defend the indefensible. I commend you though for keeping on trying... I still hope it all comes good mate

I still hope it all comes good mate I'm trying to do my best and I've always said I was trying to be as objective as possible, not trying to fall into the trap of being labelled a "blind optimist" (though some critics just can't help it by nature). I'm always trying to criticise where criticism is due and praise players individually or the team as a collective when we're doing well. I'd think that's a rather fair and realistic approach. Still, the tide has not turned. There's never been a tide. You're making it look like as if people critical of Sven have been wound up constantly, hunted down or censored. Which is not the case. There's usual suspects on both sides, but to me, yesterday's performance wasn't down to the manager's mistakes, but down to an increasingly devastating negative, cocky/arrogant attitude displayed by some so-called professional football players. You put that blue shirt on, you want to win and give it all you can. I didn't really see that against Millwall, in the second half against Watford and the second half against Birmingham. THAT is indefensible.

THAT is indefensible. Good post but THIS is where we are at some conflict... I'm sure you are right about the cockiness of some of our players.. However, one of the jobs of the management team (not only Sven) is to address this and to stamp it out.. No excuses, no compromise.. It has to stop.. I made the point earlier and stick by it, that it appears that Sven is not running things and that the players probably are... When this happens, in any form of management, and not only football management, it's time for a change. Cockiness on the part of the players implies, by definition, that they don't give a toss what Sven and his team do to them or say to them. THATS scary and my feeling is that this is where the problem lies... Finally, as an aside, my own experience, mainly of last season is that I was vilified for quite some time, usually by the same ol faces, for daring to criticise Sven There was even a thread put up to knock myself for being 'negative'.... So I can't agree with you there mate
