CupidStunt Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 so you will still be complaining if we won 6 games on the bounce but we aint though have we? stop living in what may be the future, and think about whats happened? we are a mediocre team at the minute, who have played half a dozen decent halfs of football Losing 3-0 at home to a dire Millwall team, 2-0 to poor brum side, and scraping a 2-0 win in a game we could have lost/drew against an even poorer Watford side aint good enough imo that Martin "caller" who got slated on weds on the radio for wanting Sven out, aint looking so dumb now.. I predict Sven isnt going to get us promoted this season, thats given he isnt sacked after the West ham game if we get beat
dave the caveman Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 He has been here for over a year and has made no improvement on the performances under Sousa despite spending many millions of pounds. We've just lost 3-0 at home to one of the worst sides in the division. He deserves every bit of criticism he receives. I'd give him two more games.

We wouldn't be in the league, let alone 12th, if Sousa was still in charge!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 No, I am not getting off Sven's back. Sven was given millions to spend. Probably more than any other Championship manager, and more than any other previous Leicester manager. He decided to buy the players - and he brought more central midfielders, whether its on loan or not, than we need. He now plays a formation to acomodate them all, and will also change them around regardless of whether we won our previous game. It is irrelevent who I would have picked in my midfield today, because I would have brought quality wingers - ie, really gone for Jimmy Kebe. So it is Sven's squad. We have no width because of this, so Peltier and Konchesky have no support and get caught out - as seen with Millwall's second goal today. We don't look organised enough. I knew Millwall would be tough today because Kenny Jackett always has his team organised. Under Pearson, our team looked so organised and solid. I came out of the stadium today asking the question that we are not organised enough to push forward. The players do not try hard enough. This has to come down to the manager. Spot on, agree totally.
Corky Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 I'm not really on his back, not like others anyway. All I want to know is what happened to the attacking football I enjoyed watching last year?
Cropwellfox Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Apart from 1 run of half a dozen games, Sven's time here has been nothing other than inconsistent, and with the resources he has had this is nothing short of unacceptable. And since feb, we've forgotton how to win away games, have stopped scoring goals away from home, and can't find a way to beat teams who are set up solidly. I'll get off his back when he gets out of my club, as he is pissing away hundreds of thousands every month in his, and others, salaries at the moment.
dave the caveman Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 We wouldn't be in the league, let alone 12th, if Sousa was still in charge! Sven returned with something like one extra point from the reverse fixtures of the games Sousa was in charge for last season. That was after he'd brought in a bunch of pricey loans and had months with the players. I'm not defending Sousa, he was absolute wank. But so is Sven.
