Tuna Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Do you think we have been performing to an acceptable level, given the investment of millions of pounds on experienced international players?
lovelcfc Posted 22 October 2011 Author Posted 22 October 2011 Do you think we have been performing to an acceptable level, given the investment of millions of pounds on experienced international players? In certain games weve been great derby brighton the problem is were just to inconsistent
somebum Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Yeah, 'get behind your team'. Solid reasoning. I have a ball; perhaps you'd like to bounce it.
Schlupp Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 We shouldn't have even won against Southampton,When your promotion favourites you've spent 15 million and you play a team like Milllwall who haven't even got a pot to piss in and we get hammered 3-0 you expect us to praise sven really?

somebum Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 I'll bounce your balls into next week. I'm not that way inclined mate, but whatever floats your boat.

Errm, most transfer fees are undisclosed and contain clauses for payments when... - the paper speculation is just that, speculation, guessing, they have as much of a clue as we do. Put simply I'd be suprised if the amount we've spent is near that.

In Championship terms we have spent a fortune...things HAVE to improve and very soon.
woznotwos Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Ive had about as much of this i can take ! another day having the piss ripped out of me at work ! svens back ? what would anyone expect ? its worse than crap , its embarrassing , truly embarrassing , and those players that got thumped will take home five times the wages for that performance than the millwall players , hahahaha laughable................so pissed off!!
cc_star Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 We're a midtable team with a manager who's done nothing other than be mid-table, better than Sousa, not as good as Pearson, his year + record with us proves that. Given he's the most fortunate manager in the history of the club though he should be doing better than he is. He's here till next May, so we may as well back him.

Sven must wake up every morning and think he's the luckiest man alive. But, the Thai owners are in love with him.. He's here till his contract expires.. I have little doubt of that
He's not bald Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Bottom line, that "display" this afternoon was nothing short of disgraceful and anyone who still thinks that useless Swedish idiot should be given another minute must be mad! Came straight home so not listened to the excuses yet but I bet the old chestnut "tired after 3 games in 6 days" is rolled out....bollox! we have the strength in depth to beat Milwall with a second 11 if we only had a manager with some tactical nonce and some passion, standing in the technical area with your arms folded then running to hide when the opposition get a corner and might score again is nothing short of cowardice, Eriksson is a tosser and for one don't care about what he's achieved in the dim distant past it's what he's doing (or not doing) now that bothers me and the sooner he pisses off the better!

We all know the Thais won't sack Sven and he will run out his contract so let's stop moaning and hope he sorts it out. Nothing ANY of us says is going to change that!

You are quite right... Excuse after excuse after excuse... Been happening since last season.. I saw it and was slated for it for weeks on here.. At least it's more apparent now

You really think that? so last season when we went on a bad run and the owners had dialogue with Zola and Di Matteo about taking over you think they won't be interested and looking at other options now? I hope they change things sooner rather than later, sven is clueless.

You are quite right... Excuse after excuse after excuse At least some of those who were taking the piss out of any criticism aimed at Sven... And they know who they are, are finally seeing the light We could get it right and now go on a ten match unbeaten run... But that today, like brizzle, like reading, like Brum was utterly utterly dreadful
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 I think we should give Sven until Christmas to sort it out. What do others think?
nuttytimmy Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 And what else would anyone have done today, after a decent 2-0 win against Watford in midweek? Sven has said he might have changed a few players around in hindsight - after today's game - but in my view he did right to keep a winning team together. Consistency is the buzz word tonight, with us failing to put a run of wins together. But what is sacking Eriksson going to achieve? More inconsistency as we chop and change managers, playing styles altered as yet again we look for new players to 'gel' and another season written-off? Surely Eriksson must get at least a whole season - with his own team, not a bunch of loanees - to attempt to build a squad. The point about our width is valid - a lack of investment here is concerning but who do you suppose would have been a feasible target? Many would point to the likes of Kebe, but there was no reason for him to swap Reading for Leicester, teams who should both be fighting for the title. I think we need to be losing a lot more games for Sven to be sacked - we could still be ahead of West Ham after full time at Upton Park on Saturday. Who'll be complaining then?
He's not bald Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 The only glimmer on the horizon is that people are actually seeing what that useless Swede is all about, he's a mercenary, chasing money based on former glories that are a world apart from today's reality. I just pray our Thai owners realise this sooner rather than later and get shot!
Fox92 Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 No, I am not getting off Sven's back. Sven was given millions to spend. Probably more than any other Championship manager, and more than any other previous Leicester manager. He decided to buy the players - and he brought more central midfielders, whether its on loan or not, than we need. He now plays a formation to acomodate them all, and will also change them around regardless of whether we won our previous game. It is irrelevent who I would have picked in my midfield today, because I would have brought quality wingers - ie, really gone for Jimmy Kebe. So it is Sven's squad. We have no width because of this, so Peltier and Konchesky have no support and get caught out - as seen with Millwall's second goal today. We don't look organised enough. I knew Millwall would be tough today because Kenny Jackett always has his team organised. Under Pearson, our team looked so organised and solid. I came out of the stadium today asking the question that we are not organised enough to push forward. The players do not try hard enough. This has to come down to the manager.

I will be and will keep doing so until he's gone, a win at Wham is unlikely and even if we do it won't change the fact the we were useless in the second half against a poor Watford side and appalling today I said last week that anything less than 6 points would be unacceptable and to be honest we were lucky we got 3!

This is what I said at the start of the season (nick, take note) and I stick by it. However, with considerably less hope than I had at the start of the season
