blurros Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 Who knows our revenue? http://www.stadiumzone.weebly.com has all sports clubs with a revenue about 20 million euros, but what about ours? I thought we should be in that list, or am I blind??
Yojoe36 Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 WTF?! Leicester Tigers are on it. Half of Welford Road is a shed.
The Doctor Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 WTF?! Leicester Tigers are on it. Half of Welford Road is a shed. They are also one of the biggest club sides in Rugby and have huge marketing potential within the sport.
Yojoe36 Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 They are also one of the biggest club sides in Rugby and have huge marketing potential within the sport. ... Who watches Rugby?
The Doctor Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 ... Who watches Rugby? For a start, me. Rugby may not be as "big" as football but it's still a popular sport.
Guest MattP Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 Lot of money in shifting 30,000 tea flasks and green cushions.
Nick Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 Lot of money in shifting 30,000 tea flasks and green cushions. And standing and real ale.......
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 Dont really understand, but how are we not on the list and Pompey are?
Libertine Dream Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 Is it because we dont own the ground so don't get all matchday revenue?
RyanB89 Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 either that or what libertine said, we dont own the ground and pay rent?
Leicester Lass Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 If you want to find out that much go on Companies House website and order a copy of the clubs financial statements.

Wink Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 Charlton athletic are on it .. League one, Chris Powell is doing well for himself
anotherharboroughfox Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 And standing and real ale....... And being able to drink in view of the pitch......
Guest MattP Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 Real ale tastes dreadful in a plastic glass...
stourbridgefox Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 I suspect the data or the website is a few years old. The reason Portsmouth, Charlton and Wigan are on there is probably because they are in the Premier League or are getting parachute payments. It shows how parachute payments warp the playing field. If it is a few years old, then Leicester could be in League One which would see revenue drop hugely. If it was up to date data then the sponsorship from King Power and Air Asia would surely take us above E20 million? Tigers sell an awful amount of shirts. I live in the West Midlands and even though Worcester is just down the road, I see loads of Tigers shirts around and many people claim to be Tigers fans. They are quite bemused by my total disinterest in 'the biggest rugby club in the world' even though I am Leicester born and bred.
