As you say it does appear that some of the senior plays have had a word in Tops ear, + for the purpose of self preservation you can add Stowells name to that.

(Decision to make him first team coach was disastrous, also noticed Hamanns 15% win record at Stockport,.... O for Powell)

It's clear that some of the senior players are uncomfortable about not having specific instruction regardless of how Sven might have given their assurances of their abilities. What they've possibly demanded is a manager (be it Pearson) who will give them direct and implicit demands.

I wonder whether this is will damage some players who were happy with Sven's style of management, and felt unstifled. It'll be interesting to see the changes in dynamic amongst the squad.

I think your spot on Spherical. At times the players looked lost under Erickson. Arguing among themselves is a very good sign that they did not understand what each other was supposed to be doing. If nothing else Pearson will give that level of understanding to all the players , making it quite clear what he wants them to do as an individual and as a team. For all his affability Erickson was not a leader of men and by the end of his tenure had lost the dressing room. Pearson is a no nonsense mans man and will not stand any ones lack of effort and will nip in the bud any disunion from the players.Under Pearson there will be only one boss. It will be interesting to see who he makes captain, my guess is it won't be Mills.

Let's hope he doesn't bring Oakley back for the captaincy.

God, ignore?! Nooooooooooooooooo! It's like losing Martin Allen all over again!

There really was no need for you to mention Col_city in this thread and have a dig at him....

Pretty childish really...

You can share your flying puns here, or merely comment on my babblings!

After Pearson lands, I expect turbulence as City's high-flyers feel the force of the changes.

We all know we need some wide players fly down the wings like a jet before our season can really take off . At least we have a jumbo transfer budget. In time we will climb up the league.

We all need to Embraer Pearson's new regime and get behind him. We need a period of stability and job Sikorsky will be important to Pearson. I think the next VOR games are very important as we don't want to descend further down the table. Pearson just needs to get things sorted on the pitch .

It's Boeing to be alright.

Pearson will get the best out of Beckford, stop him being an arrogant cockpit . Nige has a short fuselage when it comes to primadonnas.

I guess the flying puns thread didn't have wings. Grounded before takeoff...
