Lineker's Left Foot Posted 12 November 2011 Posted 12 November 2011 Just wondering if anybody has any links to our Premier Academy to see how they're getting on?? Cheers
davieG Posted 12 November 2011 Posted 12 November 2011 There's a section on the OS but it's invariably out of date the maintenance of it is spasmodic to say the least I no longer bother to look http://www.lcfc.com/page/AcademyNewsIndex/0,,10274,00.html http://www.lcfc.com/page/Academy/0,,10274~2111291,00.html
ramadaone Posted 12 November 2011 Posted 12 November 2011 They were beating Cardiff 3-1 when I left - Hopper looks the real deal to me
eleven points Posted 12 November 2011 Posted 12 November 2011 Most up to date table I've come across: http://www.premierleague.com/page/YouthBTable
bluearmyfox23 Posted 14 November 2011 Posted 14 November 2011 Off the topic but i read somewhere that we have 7-10 thai youngsters in our acadamey does anyone know who they are and wheather they are any good ?
jamesmilner Posted 14 November 2011 Posted 14 November 2011 they are here for 6 months .they are 15/16 year olds . its like a package (american style ? ) that includes schooling but i dont think they are elite footballers as such but not seen them play or know their ability.

Callabinho Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 What's the deal with this Peruvian? Is he Any good? And what age does he play at?
jamesmilner Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 the peruvian i know was spouted to be the new maradonna but hasnt really shone too much . he was two years ago brilliant compared to his team mates and opposition but i think it has caught up a bit with him . i know bill (scout) made a purpousful trip to peru to watch him , obviously sees something as he is here. these players at this age really are hit and miss so keeping fingers crossed hope he improves .he has his own facebook page if interested .

They might be elite in Thailand for their age but they are a fair way behind our academy boys of the same age - decent players and it will be a great experience for them but don't expect them to be offered scholarships
