You could argue that United have been very unlucky as they saw Page's full potential when our manager etc quite clearly did not. It was only a fluke sending off that saw him start playing and showing exactly what United's scouts had seen all along. Still surprised we didn't take the offer as it was decent, had a nice sell on clause plus the option to possibly loan him back to us. Like most fans I am no lover of football Agents but on this occasion I think one has actually done ok for us. It would have massively been in there interests to get 10% of the transfer fee plus 10% of no doubt a bigger wage so would have been easy to have rocked the boat and thrown a transfer request in. Staying and playing first team football had to be the right choice but Monga etc didn't see it that way and may live to regret it. Hopefully in time they will get 10% of a bigger number but there is a certain amount of risk in that he might get injured , might change Agents or lose form so it would have been an option to push for a move now. Know he is under contract but we all know what that could mean in reality when a big club comes calling with a big offer.

Saturdays team line up is massive for that twat of a manager we have. Play any of the journeymen swamp residents and he deserves everything he gets. Categorically nothing wrong with Seagrave Training Ground as it is world class. Now the culture within it is a seperate thing all together and that is about as far away as world class as you can get. It also won't be a 5 minute job to change that culture either.
