Swalker Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Today, we showed a complete lack of passion and energy. Against Palace, we won and we played youth. Why change a winning situation? Next game I would bring in to the squad: Moore Kennedy Taft Moussa Hopper Is youth the answer?
Swalker Posted 14 January 2012 Author Posted 14 January 2012 Kennedy is 26 Yes sorry, I didn't mean to count him as youth. Just he was included in one of the fringe players I would give a chance
Oh tommy wright Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Seriously, we always seem to do well in the Masters. Let's go the other way, Paul Ramsey, Ali Mauclan and David Oldfield.
Thracian Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Yes sorry, I didn't mean to count him as youth. Just he was included in one of the fringe players I would give a chance Nothing against the guy but why? What's Konch doing so desperately wrong. He's probably our most consistent outfield player and his is probably the last position we need to worry about.

Yes Konch is good, but considering Kennedy got the man of the match award against palace then gets dropped. Who drops the man of the match?
Bob Farley Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 You could see if he would want to try left mid? Also I agree to an extent about the youth/ fringe players.
Swalker Posted 14 January 2012 Author Posted 14 January 2012 You could see if he would want to try left mid? Also I agree to an extent about the youth/ fringe players. Yes that would work. But basically I think that by bringing in some youth/fringe players they are going to want to work and prove a point. Hence more effort and passion and this is the missing element in our team. Look at Stoke in their promotion campaign they didn't have exceptional players but they won because they had passion and always put in 100%

Next game I would bring in to the squad: Moore Kennedy Taft Moussa Hopper Is youth the answer? I made much the same point in the Billy Sharp thread, but noted the lack of names that I had heard of in the midfield/winger department of the academy/youth ranks (except for a glowing report of Norburn in a recent game). As this is the area where we have the greatest deficiency in the current team, does anyone know of any of our youth players in that department who might be ready for the step up?
lcfcsnow Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Yes Konch is good, but considering Kennedy got the man of the match award against palace then gets dropped. Who drops the man of the match? Remember last season when Vitor came back against Scunny I think after a few months injured, scored 2 goals and was back to being sub the next game.
