Given up hope

Anyone else just past caring about this season now? We haven't even won 2 games in a row yet which is embarrassing. Even Cov won 2 games in a row! I'm just completely expecting the worst now, with all these new rules about how much your allowed to spend coming in place next season. The owners have a lot of dough, but they clearly don't understand football. They think if they demand promotion they will get it. We could only dream of a dave whelan or a bill kenwright with the money the Thais have. Someone who actually would be in it for years because they love the club. But we don't, we are stuck with a hideously overpaid bunch of wankers that are not good enough to wear the Leicester shirt. We have a stadium that has never once felt like home since we moved there. Seriously, there must be someone who's got time/bored to find out how many times we've lost at home since we've been in our wank, soulless stadium. (excluding league 1) I say let's move home games to welford road! I am usually over a defeat by now but the last one has actually left me incensed. I'm sure Nigel wouldnt even mind getting sacked, he will get a million pound or more pay off for doing nothing. He knows that if we don't go up this season he is getting sacked, he has repeatedly said he knows what his remit is for the rest of the season. Seriously we are a complete joke and there's nothing we can do about it but watch what happens to the club we all love.

YAWN. This is getting so unbelievably dull already. Why couldn't this have gone in one of the 20 or so other 'dissatisfied' threads?

Also, where have you got this from: "

He knows that if we don't go up this season he is getting sacked".

I don't get what you're on about with regards to how many times we've lost at our stadium, didn't we have shit seasons where we lost a load at Filbert Street? In fact our home record was pretty crap the year we went up under O'Neill.

I'd like to point out that our stadium never will feel like home if people continue to be negative about it and use it as an excuse for our shortcomings. Southampton's ground is very similar and they are top of the Championship. I doubt they give a shit that it's not the Dell at the moment.

There are a number of ways you can get Filbert Way to feel like home. 1) change it - looks a possibility, lets hope they do it right. You have no control over that. 2. Stop complaining about it and try and create an atmosphere every week. There is no way that all of the people that complain about our stadium and it's atmosphere actively do something about it. 3. Be a successful team. Again, we have no control over that.

I'd like not to give up on this season but yeh, deep down we all know it's 'over'. So what? What are you going to do about it? What am I going to do about it? Well, we could just forget about promotion and take each game as it comes. Hope that we win, don't think we've got a chance of going up if we d.

I suppose you just made this thread to vent, which is fair enough. But I don't think there's any other solution to your/our problem other than trying to stay positive. If you give up on caring about the season now you've got 7 months of being negative til the next one.

And as long as we don't go bust there's always hope for that one :fc:

I don't agree about the kp stadium never having any soul. What about the year we got promoted under micky Adams ? The place was rocking . Remember the game against Milwall when claridge scored for them first and Wise was playing for them . We beat them and the ground was heaving with Mexican waves and a promotion party atmosphere. Should we ever get a team good enough for promotion again you will see the difference it makes to the fans and the Ground.Don't blame the ground or the fans you know who is responsible for the funeral type atmosphere.
