Just like Forest for 65 minutes then when they got dominated by a shit forest team. He's alriight, but he aint the answer. Why when people don't play, or when managers are no longer here, do they suddenly become twice the player/manager they actually are/were?

I will never cease to be amazed at some fans' lack of appreciation for what he brings. He isn't world class, he's very much at his level here, but we don't have a better anchor man in the middle and if we're playing with a 3 man midfield he's a must imo. We do need a better central midfield though.

We do need a better central midfield though. I barrely saw our trio get a touch of the ball baring danns. Abe was running around like a headless chicken and the game was passing him by in my eyes. It was no shock that he was subbed quite early on in the second half, and not shock we looked much better after he and Gallagher went. If he's the answer... then we have no bloody hope.
Christoph Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Our main problem is we dont seem to have a midfielder who can get a ball through the oppositions defence to the strikers, its all tippy tappy around the box before it gets crossed overto the corner flag or something daft.

It's often not accurate enough to be deemed "tippy tappy".
